I approved some of them manually yesterday ad blocked or deleted others. The particular problem with grep was, that the path of the .po files was not the same as the template. I fixed that already. For the remaining 9000+ files in Needs Review, I will send out a mail later with detailed information on how to investigate why they didn't get imported or blocked and what to do with them.
