Need to figure out what the directory structure in the tarball looks like. Then, check the PO Revision date if the po.old/ files are actually obsolete versions of the po/ or pos/ (?) files... Need to clarify which path should be used for current translations (check with the template in LP) and report others as a bug. Please file a bug against that package to clarify any questions left open, if you cannot figure it out.
