They expected to find an icon in the Launcher. Desired solution: - Add a 'system settings' icon to the launcher. This icon should be present in the launcher by default after a fresh install. - Add a launcher quicklist that links to Personal, Hardware, and System setting categories (this change is optional for 11.10) - The 'System Settings' launcher icon should be positioned directly above the workspace switcher icon. Note that this change only applies to fresh installs. Users upgrading to Oneiric should not automatically have this icon added to their launcher.
