Looking at schedules, there is a LanguageTranslationDeadline on 9th August, which means we should aim test language packages to be uploaded a week before. Precise language packs are scheduled for export on Tuesdays, that puts the deadline to the 30th. July, if the goal is to have the latest translations. On the other hand, the language pack update schedule is the one invented for normal releases, and does not take into account point releases. I think we can and should change that :). I'll ask dpm about this as soon as he is back from his holidays, early next week.
