A French user could reproduce with apt 0.9.7.5 : see Bug #1096142 IMHO, this is a bug of apt, not a translation problem: - either 'apt' should not make Y/n a non-translatable string - or 'apt' should make sure that the key is corresponding to the localized string

User needs to use equivalent English keys. Status in APT: New Status in Ubuntu Translations: Invalid Bug description: This is a minor bug that applies to danish tranlations and posiible all non-english language. When installing softare through the terminal (apt-get install) you are promted if you like to install the package or not. In danish those options are translated as well i.e. options are displayed as "[J/n]". However you have to type "y" to install and n th chancel. (what the user type has to be the english options) best regards jonas To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/apt/+bug/1078073/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-translations-coordinators Post to : ubuntu-translations-coordinators@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-translations-coordinators More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
