I have seen this before with Feisty and Nvidia. Have a look at the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf. In the section "Device", look at the BusID. If it says something like BusID "PCI:0:5:0" change it to BusID "PCI:1:0:0" Then save and start x as usual.
