Personally I don't really care much about keyboard quality - I type ridiculously fast but seem to manage to do it on whatever keyboard I'm using (well, unless it's got broken keys in which case I get VERY annoyed indeed!)
What is quite useful is a wireless keyboard. Got some Logitech one that is invaluable if giving presentations etc. where the laptop needs to be close to a projector and I'm in front.
