anybody else noticing synaptic/dpgk forcing installation of linux-image2.6.32-24-generic when trying to install a package? well it's happening on my main desktop but whenever it tries to install it always hangs at creating grub.cfg, so effectively I cannot install any packages. this a major problem for me. anybody know any solutions/workarounds?
