I ran:
root@megacat:~# ldapmodify -v -c -a -x -D cn=admin -w MyPassWord -f
base.ldif
and got:
ldap_initialise( <DEFAULT> )
ldap_bind: Invalid Credentials (49)
so it didn't work, unless I got it wrong
