I have 2.2 beta running with 10.04 and Natty, and it seems to find the camera OK. But - my sister made the mistake of firing up Cheese before firing up Skype 'just to check out the camera'. Cheese takes sole control of the camera and Skype doesn't find it! She now knows different!
