There's a bug (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/1041523) saying that the kconfig backend is no longer supported, but it is still being scanned for and this error comes up because of it. Do you have a libkconfig.so (libkconfig4.so) at "/usr/lib/compizconfig/backends"? Try deleting it or moving it to the desktop and try again?
