[ubuntu-uk] wireless mouse

After using my Microsoft mouse for a few hours, small movements of the 
scroll wheel causes a large movement of the text. This is easily 
corrected by disconnecting and reconnecting the wireless detector. I 
wonder why this happens and if there is any way of preventing it. Ideas 
most welcome.
