The new mesa packages ubuntu 3.1 for jaunty seem to introduce some sort of input lag on my system when compositing is activated.
It can be reproduced with the following: open kpackage search for "kde" move with the mouse ober the results Usually the option underneath the mouse gets highlighted pretty much immediately. With the mesa packages it takes over a second and sometimes more. Furthermore it can be seen while browsing with firefox, the mous needs some time to change from mouse pointer to "hyperlink click"..very annoying delay....
