Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg
On a fresh install of 9.04 Jaunty (made with the latest Wubi package) my Ubuntu desktop looks great. I can reboot my HP Mini-Note 2133 and it still works. BUT when I install the Broadcom STA WiFi-driver (which Ubuntu recommends me) because I haven't got a working wifi, then i reboot, and the resolutions are messed up! How the **** can a wireless driver mess up the resolution? Ask for any further info (i don't know what information I should give, or where to find it, so plz tell me HOW!! I am quite new to Ubuntu, but I can work in the terminal). I chose the package "xorg" as a guess, but I am definetely not shure, as I can't figure out where the problem is. ** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- 9.04: incorrect resolution on the HP 2133 after install of Broadcom STA WiFi-driver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/375576 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
