The boot options i8042.nomux=1 fixed the problem for me. If you want them to stay around, look for a line like: # defoptions=splash nohz=off vga=792 quiet
and add the option on the end, like this: # defoptions=splash nohz=off vga=792 quiet i8042.nomux=1 When you install a new kernel, you'll automagically keep all your options. -- Dell XPSM1530 touchpad not working properly after BIOS upgrade https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/306904 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-synaptics in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
