The motherboard model is M2V-MX with BIOS V0807. Sorry for the confusion. I have console access through SSH and VNC access (only vesa, the user in front of the computer doesn't see anything).

If I use the vesa driver I get a blank screen; vesa driver are working in 8.04, not in 8.10.
