Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
Dist: Jaunty Jackalope GFX Adapter: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82945G/GZ Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02) GNOME Display Settings only allow me to set 1360x768 which is 6 pixel less in width than the native resolution of my MSI Wind Top AE1900 AIO PC's Display. In Windows the resolution is 1366x768. Because of the missing pixels Gnome/XFree seems to fill the area with the pixels left of it. I already tried changing/forcing X11 to use 1366x768 by adding a custom Modeline. But this results in color line mess on gm login prompt. After blind login the resolution sets back to 1360x768. What can I do? ** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: 1366 8294g ae1900 intel msi wind ** Tags added: 1366 8294g ae1900 intel msi wind -- Resolution always fails back to 1360x768, ignoring xorg.conf https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/381989 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
