For the record, this still happens with the latest -intel/UXA/KMS
versions.

However, it does _not_ happen any more on my system since I plugged in a
second GB of RAM. Now it has two RAM pipelines available which
apparently makes memory operations fast enough to avoid the underruns. I
discussed this with Jesse Barnes at UDS, and he seems to understand the
root cause of this now.

I'll continue discussion upstream.
