I'm displaying a slideshow from OpenOffice Impress on monitor 2 and
keeping other applications open on monitor 1 in an "extended desktop"
mode. When I click on menus on applications on monitor 1, the image on
monitor 2, showing the slide show, flickers in a rather ugly fashion.
This happens with several makes of monitor 2 including a Sony projector
and a Dell LCD screen. Before 9.04 I only used ATI native drivers and I
didn't have this problem so I really suspect a driver bug but I'm
guessing.
I'm running Ubuntu 9.04 on a Compac nc8430 w/ Radeon Mobility X1600.
OpenOffice.org package 1:3.0.1-9ubuntu3.
