i have the same problem with my toshiba a215 laptop. $ glxgears Running synchronized to the vertical refresh. The framerate should be approximately the same as the monitor refresh rate. 1311 frames in 5.0 seconds = 262.136 FPS 1573 frames in 5.0 seconds = 314.562 FPS 1609 frames in 5.0 seconds = 321.686 FPS 1532 frames in 5.0 seconds = 306.386 FPS 1607 frames in 5.0 seconds = 321.279 FPS
