This does not work for me in Jaunty. I may be doing something wrong. Here's what I do:
-download https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/karmic/+source/xserver-xorg-video-nv/1:2.1.13-1ubuntu2 -unpack, configure, make, make install -copy /usr/local/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/nv_drv.so to /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/nv_drv.so -add "10DE0844" as penultimate line of /usr/share/xserver-xorg/pci/nv.ids (in correct order for hex) Result: X won't start at all (no screens). I went back to the proprietary drivers for now. -- 9100m G card (for acer aspire 4350) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/321613 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-nv in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
