jerrylamos, we really need /var/log/Xorg.0.log with the intel driver. It should 
not be too hard to get that off a LiveCD. If you have a USB-stick, you may copy 
it there. If you have network connection you may scp or ftp it somewhere. You 
may even mount a hard drive partition and copy it there. In this case, we would 
actually like you to add the line
  Option "ModeDebug" "true"
to the "Device" section of /etc/X11/xorg.conf before you restart X (e.g. with 
`sudo /etc/init.d/gdm restart`). This will add extra useful information to 
Xorg.0.log.
