i'm using kernel 2.6.28-13-generic (so jaunty stock including updates (recommended, important)) I am also using the xserver-xorg-video-intel from the jaunty proposed repo.
I've been fine over the last 24 hours under normal usage with compiz enabled and using mostly internet, videos, some wine. No freezes, lockups, crashes, nothing. I'm 100% sure this is unrelated but sometimes when i resume from suspend it crashes x and i have to re-log in. Is there anything i can run with my kernel that normally causes the freezes that i can do to confirm it being fixed? -- [i965] X freezes starting on April 3rd https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/359392 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is the registrant for xf86-video-intel. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
