*** This bug is a security vulnerability *** Public security bug reported:
It seems to be affected by aMsn. Whenever a new user logs in on msn, and I have a "Locked Screen" on my Jaunty 9.04 laptop (after the screen has become blank), I get the 'user has logged in' sound from aMsn and the Top and Bottom bars from the Desktop show up. While the screen is Locked! When I click something, I do get the password prompt, but if I, for example, have a "35 ways to be lazy at work" webpage open on Firefox, it Shows up on the bottom bar application icon... and I sure don't want my boss to see. I THINK but can't be sure it's related to xorg, but seems to be! Ubuntu version: 9.04 apt-cache policy xorg: 1:7.4~5ubuntu18 Expected: to Not show my Desktop contents when locked, Especially on a linux system... Instead: I get portions of my Desktop (Top-Bottom bars) showing up... ** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Visibility changed to: Public -- Jaunty Desktop Up-Down Panels show up when Screen is Locked, on an amsn notification https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/393166 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
