Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg
When KMS is enabled I can't log in. Xserver and GDM load but the mouse pointer shows artifacts and the input boxes don't work. I can move the mouse pointer but I can't enter any text. I can boot with i915.modeset=0 and log in. I could even stop GDM, reload i915 with modeset enabled and GDM and X worked fine.
