I tried to work around the problem using a 2.6.29 kernel from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v2.6.29.6/
At least using the specific version 2.6.29-02062906 the bug did NOT disappear! Maybe they are less frequent but for me it is not solved using that kernel. Again I retrieved a backtrace via gdb.
