Hey Bryce, Just wanted to say thanks and confirm that on my Sony Vaio VGN-Z520N with dual Intel/Nvidia Video cards, this has allowed me to activate compiz too!
I had followed the instructions of the Vaio Z Launcpad team, but I couldn't run the Nvidia card, couldn't even have the driver installed, as it would break compiz, even for the Intel card... Found this thread, installed the .debs, works like a charm, switched to Intel, still working... Thanks!
