I had the same problem with a P7P55D-E-Premium mother board running 64 bit versions of both Ubuntu 10.04 and 10.10. No issue with Ubuntu 9.10. Switching to a USB mouse would make the mouse work but of course not the keyboard. I understand the asus_atk0110 driver gives information for the fans. How does one blacklist this driver?
