There is a (yet another) new kernel patch in the upstream bug report that has the potential to fix this bug once and for all: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=27187#c281
I don't have the resources (full hard drive and other limitations) to build a Ubuntu kernel package with this patch. If anybody has the possibility to put a test kernel in a PPA (or some other place), that would be nice. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is the registrant for xf86-video-intel. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/541511 Title: MASTER: [i855] GPU lockup (apport-crash) _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
