Hi Dave, To update you on status... we'll be updating to a new X stack within the next week or so, including new mesa and a new -ati driver. My bet is that it includes a fix for this issue. RAOF is currently working on uploading the stack to xorg-edgers for testing, but it may be a day or so before that's ready to test.
