After upgrading to Ubuntu 10.10, I still have this problem. Are there any news related to it?
I was also wondering why this bug has low priority. I understand it's not a kernel panic, but if Ubuntu wants to be an easy-accessible OS, bugs like this one should not happen. They make Ubuntu look very amateur. If there is any way I can obtain more information (through logs, debugging, etc.), please let me know and I will try to submit as much information as necessary in order to fix this problem.
