Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-core
Some time ago I was using Jaunty with xorg-edgers repo added now I've switched to Karmik. I use 2 monitors, built in LVDS 1680x1050 and external 1920x1200. After in Jaunty I received updated xserver-xorg-core including "Make RANDR 'set' timestamps follow client specified time. Bug 21987." commit from upstream, "xrandr --output VGA --right-of LVDS --auto" stopped working saying something about "invalid config time". Then I switched to karmik, xrandr --verbose --output VGA --right-of LVDS --auto doesn't produce any output and has no effect on display. ** Affects: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- xrandr unable to arrange monitors https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/397769 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
