Hello I suppose my problem is related to this, in my case error is happening whenever I try to open a project from within kile. When I press the open button, the file selector is showed and after that the entire X server is crashed with a segfault, in the attatchment I send the Xorg log, the problem occurs even with no window manager. At a first sight it appears to be related with the search for fonts:
