briancb, -nvidia hasn't been updated to use the new xserver 1.10 yet,
don't install it. (In fact, jockey should have prevented you from
installing it to begin with...)

** Description changed:

Installed failure using apt-get dist-upgrade on Natty to upgrade to the
  new X stack.

This is an expected error. xserver is being held back from upgrading
until the full set of drivers have rebuilt for the system. The issue is
a temporary one while this building work is going on, lasting perhaps a
day. It can take a bit longer for the builds to propagate out to the
  slower mirrors.
+
+ NOTE: You can't use -nvidia or -fglrx now. We have to wait for new
+ updated versions of both drivers from NVIDIA and AMD that supports
+ xserver 1.10. Until then, you need to have them uninstalled and use the
+ open source drivers, -nouveau and -ati respectively.
