Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

I used ubuntu-x-swat ppa for get updated video driver, and found it has useful
feature: displays activates/deactivates just on attach/deattach dsub (vga)
cable to my netbook. It's cool and useful for me, but one bug is annoying me:
in home I don't use internal netbook display and fully switching to external
(because of compiz can't run then external display resolution is "too high" -
seems out of video memory (while videocard is actually uses system memory) to
handle composite output 1024x600 and 1680x1050 simultaneously).
Netbook successfully switches ON external 20" display and switches OFF internal
10" when I connecting cable.
But when I disconnect external monitor cable, Xorg is instantly crashes. No
matter if LID is open or closed.

I wold like to help Ubuntu-X team to fix this bug. Looks like debug
