There isn't enough information provided in this bug report to be certain
(p.s. use 'ubuntu-bug xorg' when reporting X bugs!) however this smells
a lot like a kernel bug to me.  I'm refiling as 'linux'.

I would suggest re-testing against the current development version
(natty) and filing bugs via the above command, which will ensure the
necessary debug data is collected.
