Heya Bruce, I'm not sure either why libdrm-intel1-dbg did not show the first four symbols; perhaps try libdrm2-dbg as well.
I965DisplayVideoTextured sounds like it is a crash occurring with compiz on, is that correct? The version of -intel in Karmic has a ton of bug fixes over the version in Jaunty (the dev team was doing major rearchitecting in Jaunty, moving large chunks of X into the kernel). We have some backports of the newer drivers in the x-updates PPA: https://edge.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat/+archive/x-updates/ and even newer versions in the xorg-edgers PPA: https://edge.launchpad.net/~xorg-edgers/+archive/ppa If either of those work, probably no need to test against karmic. If they do not solve it, you could also try a newer kernel. From our testing, the -intel 2.6.99 + kernel 2.6.31 seems to be the killer combo and has resolved a ton of problems on -intel. If you want to install the full Karmic on your machine, note that Alpha-2 has been found to be reasonably stable (particularly for -intel users who are having problems in Jaunty). ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- [g45] X crash playing video on GM45 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/398594 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
