In theory, I could live with a diagnosis of "incomplete" but not "invalid". What sort of logs are you looking for? The performance data is that video playback with mplayer on HD videos is unacceptable. I don't know how to count dropped frames, but I can tell you that playback is visibly, noticeably jerky and it wasn't this way under maverick. In my opinion, It would be a shame if natty shipped without addressing this performance regression.
I can say that performance does seem to have improved slightly with recent xorg updates, but there are still noticeable, frequent jitters that didn't exist under maverick. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/704284 Title: unacceptable mplayer performance on hd playback in natty _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
