i think this bug does still affect me on natty, but i cannot test it right now since there are no compatible nvidia drivers since the x-server ABI bump.
for the time being i avoided the issue using nvidia-173 installed via apt-get – but i would appreciate it if jockey was able to install nvidia-current. nvidia-current can be installed from the command line, but will only work for the builtin screen. if i attach an external monitor one of the two will always be black when using twinview … -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/632376 Title: package nvidia-current 256.53-0ubuntu2 failed to install/upgrade: nvidia-current kernel module failed to build _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
