@Anton The links that you created (e.g. libGL.so -> /usr/lib/fglrx/libGL.so) are not necessary. ldconfig should find libGL anyway on a clean system.
@Christopher I can't guarantee that Natty will work correctly on your computer. It's still in Beta 1. @dart Please file a separate bug report about your problem @EricDHH You can remove nvidia with: sudo apt-get remove --purge nvidia-current Also, next time please put the output of commands in a text file and attach it to the bug report (using the "Add attachment or patch" button) instead of copying and pasting things in the bug report. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to fglrx-installer in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/709505 Title: [MASTER] fglrx failed to install/upgrade due to being incompatible with 2.6.38 kernel _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
