Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xkeyboard-config

Performing test for keyboard hotkeys i've noticed the disable-touchpad
key on the Dell Vostro 3500 keyboard (Fn + F6) does not work, I was
expecting the touchpad will turn off with this key combo but it does
not. Then tested in another partition, where I got Maverick installed,
and had the same issue. It does not turn off the touchpad even when a
USB mouse is pluged in.
