You have -nvidia installed but are booting into X using the -vesa
driver.  These drivers use conflicting video libraries, which can cause
crashes such as the one you saw.  But your real issue is why your system
is not booting -nvidia.  Your Xorg.0.log gives a hint:

[    49.222] (EE) NVIDIA: Failed to load the NVIDIA kernel module. Please check 
your
[    49.222] (EE) NVIDIA:     system's kernel log for additional error messages.

However, this bug report did not include the kernel logs, so it remains
a mystery.  Reproduce the issue and then look at your dmesg for further
clues.
