I got this message on Packard Bell Dot netbook running Ubuntu 9.04. The
touchpad actually works fine, but I just cannot configure it from the
control center.

No evtouch capable device found, if you are sure you have 
an evtouch capable touchscreen, please mail the resulting file of the command 
"lshal > evtouch_hal.out" to the
bug url https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/317094, so support for your device can 
be added.
