Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg
Description: Ubuntu 11.04 Release: 11.04 Updated from maverick netbook Some programs like update-manager cause xorg to crash, the screen turns to scattered graphics like a video encryption. In this state there is no way but reboot to exit. Restarting gdm did not help, the screen is refreshed but freezed and unusable theirafter. I found some uxa error lines in the Xorg.0.log, something crashed away and stay in this state till reboot. This problem did not exist in 10.10.
