Public bug reported: XkbSetDetectableAutoRepeat doesn't have any effect; when autorepeating, keys are still sending both KeyPress and KeyRelease messages, even though with DetectableAutoRepeat set they should only keep sending KeyPress events.
This bug affects at least windows programs running under Wine that need to ignore autorepeat, such as World of Warcraft. There are two open bugs under bugs.freedesktop.org (http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22194 and http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22515) about XkbSetDetectableAutoRepeat not working, both filled in june, one reported under Ubuntu and the other for the GIT version, so the bug might still be present upstream.
