Thanks for testing Ubuntu and helping report GPU lockup bugs by using the automated bug reporting tools.
Unfortunately, due to a bug in these reporting tools that existed in maverick and prior Ubuntu versions, the error dumps that were collected don't actually include the correct error codes. Because of this, the bugs cannot be diagnosed using this data. On a more positive note, using the fixed tools we were able to make a huge amount of progress on these freeze bugs in natty. In some cases the issues were resolved, in other cases we have a much deeper understanding of what is causing them. For these reasons, this bug report no longer needs to be kept open. Thank you again for participating in the effort to stabilize the Intel video driver for Ubuntu. Hopefully with natty we're getting closer to achieving this goal... ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/737427 Title: [i915gm] GPU lockup db22d7fc (ESR: 0x00000001 IPEHR: 0x7f9c000c) _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
