The released ubuntu-11.04-desktop-amd64.iso does not boot from flash drive with the noveau driver. I had to go through the steps described earlier to be able to boot from flash to hi-res Unity mode using nvidia glx driver.
After installation from the flash and rebooting the display stays garbled.
