I'd like to confirm that this bug exists in Ubuntu 11.04 with Linux 2.6.38-9.43 on a Toshiba nb300.
As a workaround I set GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash nolapic_timer clocksource=jiffies" in /etc/default/grub and then run sudo update-grub sudo reboot Note that the right option name is nolapic_timer, not nolapci_timer as mentioned above. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/657990 Title: System freeze when i'am not moving the mouse or typing. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
