In re: to my above posting: I swapped the Logitech Wireless (which I meanwhile found out to be a Performance MX) with a (2 year old) Razer Lachesis, and I have yet to notice any unintentional doubleclicks after 8 hours of work, on otherwise identical hardware and software.
