Hi, I'm having the same problem as well. Ubuntu 11.04 on amd64, with NVIDIA GT 435M Optimus card, and the problem still persists with 270.41.06 installed. Flickering occurs at odd moments such as changing the screen brightness, or clicking GUI controls. Oddly, using nvidia- settings to change the resolution to some lower resolution and then changing it back seems to completely stop the flickering, for the current session at least.
